About Me
After working in various Government Medical Colleges in Maharashtra as Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, I retired as Dean of Govt Medical College, Kolhapur in 2023. Now joined Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Lavale, PUNE as Professor & Head. was PG guuide for MD course. worked as BOS member for MUHS, Nashik. worked as officiating Dean to establish new Government Medical College at Chandrapur (MS).
I am a member of GLAFIMS. GLAFIMS is abbreviation of the Global Academy of Forensic and Investigative Medicine and Science. This is a collection of people involved in Forensic Medicine, Forensic Sciences, Investigative Forensic Medicine, Law Persons, Investigative Authorities and Persons, Forensic Pathologists and allied sciences. The main aim of the association is to collaborate with each other for academic and professional development. The association has been successfully registered with the registrar and official name is “GLAFIMS ASSOCIATION”. GLAFIMS Association is abbreviation of the Global Academy of Forensic and Investigative Medicine and Science. Short Title “GLAFIMS”.

Worked as faculty in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology for more than 38 years before joining this institute. Invited as guest speaker in various conferences.
Research & publications
Published 58 papers in National & international journals. Contributed chapters on
1) " Medicolegal issues in Pandemic" in a Book "Recent trends in Forensic Medicine & Toxicology with Case Laws" by Dr A. S. Deoskar.(2023) and
2) "Estimation of age of injury from histpathology" in Book "Dr-A-S-Deoskars-Medical-Jurisprudence-Toxicology-Forensic-science-for-classroom-investigation-court-room-with-case-laws " (2013)
Awards & achievements
Best Teacher Award by Applied Forensic Research Sciences in 2024. worked as Nodal Officer for Maharashtra state for upliftment of mortuaries in GMCs of Maharashtra. Started MD course in Forensic Meduicine & Toxicology at GMC, Nagpur (MS).
